"ROYALTREE" at re:artiste's SHOW YOUR WORLD

My ROYALTREE exhibition referenced formal attire and, specifically, wedding fashion.  I was particularly interested in creating illustrations that expressed my excitement about the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May 2018.

​

My goal was to create a series of work featuring the lavishness of royal women’s attire.  In the studio,

I imagined fashion illustrating custom gowns for bridal attendees of the royal wedding.  For this art series,

I made sure each figure was impeccably dressed in bright colors with bold shapes and adorned in heraldic jewelry and fascinators.

Each mixed media art piece created for the SHOW MY WORLD exhibition points to the four meteorological seasons and demonstrates a deep appreciation for femininity.
